Discovery NotesI discovered my phage in front of the Fresh Foods Cafe on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus. It was my fourth dirt sample, and I was desperate. The temperature was approximately 22.8 degrees Celcius.
Naming NotesWhile messaging someone one day, I typed out "I just want to find one phage", but Facebook Messenger autocorrected the word "phage" to "puff". I decided to pay tribute to my initial desperation and despair by naming my phage Puff. Ultimately, since Puff was already taken by someone else, I named it Puff2.
