Discovery Notes | I discovered this soil sample inside a flower bed outside the building my class is in. This is also the fourth soil sample I have found, so it took a while for me to find a phage. |
Naming Notes | I wanted to include flower because I found this soil sample in a flower bed, and I had ransom because the phage in all of my previous soil samples were not positive. It was almost as if it was being held captive. |

Plaque Notes | The plaques were clear and not very turbid. The plaques were also relatively small and not large in shape. I would say the diameter of the plaques were no larger than 1 diameter. This was done in 3mL of top agar. Plaque sizes are relatively 1.5 mm. Composes a Sipho Morphology |
