Discovery NotesThe area from which this soil sample was taken was from a lawn in front of a bus stop. There is increased foot traffic in the area which might contribute to more interaction between bacteria, and bacteriophages. The soil around the general area was a very vibrant green indicating good growth, and the possible existence of good bacteria in the area. The soil itself was quite damp, retaining water from a rainfall the day before, during the time of collection though the sky was clear and sunny, though the temperature had dropped
Naming NotesIt is the nickname of the friend who recommended that I check in that area.
