Discovery NotesThe sample was taken from a backyard patch of grass and soil. The sprinklers were on in the morning so the soil was still a little wet. The soil was removed from the patch of grass and was hard to pick up but soft in the bag it was placed into.
Naming NotesThe name was randomly picked by a favorite color and the shape of the phage having rings. The morphology of the plaques appeared to be circles with little rings around, almost like a donut shape.
