Discovery Notes | The phage was discovered on Calvin University's Grand Rapids campus on September 18, 2024. The climate was 80 degrees Fahrenheit and dry in contrast to humid. The soil was incredibly dry, tightly packed together and had to be loosened, but overall homogenous except for a few non-soil clumps (rocks, leaves, etc). It was located near a well-worn walking path and trees. |
Naming Notes | The name RegnumDei translates to "Kingdom of God." This name came from the Latin language. It stands to advocate for the Christian God as Creator of all things. |
Sequencing Information | |
Sequencing Complete? | No |
Genome length (bp) | Unknown |
Character of genome ends | Unknown |
Fasta file available? | No |

Plaque Notes | The plaques were not clearly lytic or temperate. Their incredibly small size (indicating small burst size, slightly less than a millimeter in diameter) makes a conclusion on lytic or temperate difficult at this point in the process. The average plaque was well-rounded and distinct. |
