Discovery NotesIt was a warm day, with a temperature of 27°C. The phage was discovered near the Constantine N. Papadakis Integrated Sciences Building (PISB) at Drexel University. It was collected from a grassy area about five inches below the surface, in soil composed primarily of organic matter.
Naming NotesWe used a random word generator and obtained the word “Refund.” By replacing the “f” in the word with "ph", we came up with the name of our phage: Rephund.
