Discovery NotesFound in a field behind a rest stop in 2014. A phage named "Durt" was isolated from this same soil sample. It was sequenced and similar to "Amigo". We were curious if Durt was a lab contaminate of Amigo, or a similar phage found in this Tennessee soil.
Naming NotesIt was found by Jennifer Wilson behind a rest stop at Westmoreland, TN. The name was a combination of both.
