Discovery NotesIn growth related to temperature, we streaked two plates using an isolated phage plaque. We mixed 4.5 mL of nutrient agar with .5 mL of Mycobacterium smegmatis and poured on top of one streak plate and then repeated for the second streak plate. We stored one plate at 37C and one at room temperature. The results were: the room temperature plate contained significant smeg growth and phage plaques, the plate stored at 37C had more bacteria growth but no phage plaques.
