Discovery NotesThe soil was hard since it was covered in a layer of snow and the temperatures have been freezing this week. The soil was in a potted plant outside my home with a medium-sized plant growing from it. The soil was not very dense and contained a few rocks and roots from the plant inside.
Naming NotesI named my phage "RhinoCat" for many important reasons that reflect my personality and I feel like my phage I selected should have represented that. Rhino is one of my nicknames since it sounds similar to Ryan. Cats are my favorite animal I wanted my phage to be named after my love for cats.
