Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from the soil next to a tree and concrete wall on the side of Eberly Hall at the University of Pittsburgh at approximately 12 PM on Monday, September 26, 2016. There were shrubs growing in the grass. It was cloudy and around 70 degrees celsius. It rained periodically through out the day.
Naming Notes"Robak" is the Polish word for 'bug' or 'insect'. The meaning suits a simplistic interpretation of a phage since similar to a bug, a phage can be described as a small entity that inhabits soil.
