Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected two inches deep in a landscaped area within a semi-circular concrete structure. The soil was dark brown and powdery. A layer of wood mulch covered the area of collection. No plants were growing in the soil.
Naming NotesThe plaques create whisker-like formations, so this phage is named after my late cat, Rocky.
