Discovery Notes | I took the soil sample out of an unused garden bed; the soil was crumbly and slightly moist. A few small plants were growing around it. It was collected fro the surface to at most an inch deep. The sample was processed using direct isolation. |
Naming Notes | I named my phage RyanBossling because I couldn't name it RyanGosling and he deserves to have a phage named after him. Ryan Gosling is also a boss so it all makes sense. His best performances are definitely in movies like Bladerunner 2049 and Drive. He was good in Barbie too, but he plays a better role in moodier and more atmospheric movies. |
