Naming NotesSaa is taken from the first three letters in my name ( Saachi) and Tara means star.
Sa is a music note in Hindustani classical, just like do in do re mi fa so la ti do.
The additional a in Saa makes it a note sang for a longer amount of time. Tara in Hindi means Star which was the first impression I had of my phage. Thus, SaaTara means musical star but I preferred to call it the Star phage since the note Sa is the first and last note used in any Hindustani classical raag ( arrangement of musical notes) making it the star of Indian classical singing. So SaaTara can be called the Star Note phage or simply, the Star Phage.

Lysogeny NotesThis phage was found to have 2 different morphologies, one big and one small. The small morphology was investigated on further and experiments were done using this phage. Macrobacterium phage SaaTara has a circular morphology and has a collected titer/highest tier of 1.33 x 10^10 pfu/ML.

Annotation StatusNot sequenced
Plaque NotesThis phage had 2 different morphologies, a big and a small one. Since it was more effective to work on the smaller morphology, it was used for further experimentation and research. This morphology appeared to be a very small circle.
