| Naming Notes | Saa is taken from the first three letters in my name ( Saachi) and Tara means star. Sa is a music note in Hindustani classical, just like do in do re mi fa so la ti do. The additional a in Saa makes it a note sang for a longer amount of time. Tara in Hindi means Star which was the first impression I had of my phage. Thus, SaaTara means musical star but I preferred to call it the Star phage since the note Sa is the first and last note used in any Hindustani classical raag ( arrangement of musical notes) making it the star of Indian classical singing. So SaaTara can be called the Star Note phage or simply, the Star Phage. |

| Lysogeny Notes | This phage was found to have 2 different morphologies, one big and one small. The small morphology was investigated on further and experiments were done using this phage. Macrobacterium phage SaaTara has a circular morphology and has a collected titer/highest tier of 1.33 x 10^10 pfu/ML. |
| Annotating Institution | Unknown or unassigned |
| Annotation Status | Not sequenced |
| Plaque Notes | This phage had 2 different morphologies, a big and a small one. Since it was more effective to work on the smaller morphology, it was used for further experimentation and research. This morphology appeared to be a very small circle. |
