Discovery NotesSanty was found in the moist soil of a garden bed. Genomic DNA was sequenced on a ONT Minion, R10.4.1 chemistry. The sequence assembled into six contigs. The first contig of 8547bp has 99% query cover, 98.58% identity to phiScoe45 which is similar to Saftant (BD3). The second contig of 15,465bp has 99% query cover, 98.84% identity to phiScoe45 which is similar to Saftant (BD3). The third contig of 4888bp has 99% query cover, 99.30% identity to phiScoe45 which is similar to Saftant (BD3). The fourth contig of 5222bp has 99% query cover, 99.39% identity to phiScoe45 which is similar to Saftant (BD3). The fifth contig of 9942bp has 99% query cover, 95.57% identity to phiScoe45 which is similar to Saftant (BD3). The sixth contig of 4054bp has 96% query cover, 90.39% identity to Saftant (BD3).
Naming NotesI named my phage after my beloved older brother.
