Naming NotesOriginally the name was just mine and my lab partners initials (MJAA). During the middle of the semester, we were told to come up with a name for our phage. I (Marina) thought about everything we’ve done so far and came up with the name “Saucy”. I chose that name because all the solutions we’ve had to make are basically like a sauce so if you were to describe the phage then you would think something like “wow this looks saucy.” When I told Adrian about it, he said he likes the name but wants to add a little more pizazz to it. He then said “let’s call it Sausey (pronounced “saw-sey”)” and I agreed. I also changed the spelling from “Saucy” to “Sausey” to match the pronunciation of with word.
