Discovery NotesThe soil was very dry and warm, contained many dry weeds, and lacked life.

The sample was collected just below the topsoil.

The ambient temperature was 24℃ (75℉).
I performed 4 rounds of serial dilutions to purify my phage.
Naming NotesScooby Doo is one of my favorite cartoons and Scrappy was always temperate( very aggressive and moody) and my phage is a temperate phage, so the name fits.
