Discovery Notes | Soil sample was taken from the ground in backyard near a tree. Snow was located on top and had to be removed to dig down. Temperature was about 40° F. Dug down about 1½ inches down. Soil was wet when collected. Small twigs and pieces of grass were inside the sample, as well as a few small leaves. |
