Discovery NotesThe sample was found behind the Matthews E apartments on the left side in Sixth college at UCSD underneath a eucalyptus tree at its base. There was mostly barren ground present, and it was covered in a layer of leaves, preserving the moisture within the soil.
Naming NotesShifu is the name of the dragon in Mulan. He was small, but strong and helped Mulan save China, and similarly my phage was small, but grew very quickly and will help me to work in a laboratory in the future.
