Discovery NotesThis is Joanna Roy's information regarding her soil collection:
Joanna obtained her soil from her backyard in Frisco, TX. The soil was moist because it rained the day before. It was cold and pretty humid.
Naming NotesI named the phage based on a video made by a video creator named Jazz Emu. His video was a silly song about how medicines and scientific words are too serious and recommended making important medications silly words like Shmomp and Grunky Scripples. Therefore, I decided to name my phage Shmomp.
