Discovery NotesA soil sample was collected on 25AUG2022 from a shaded area. The soil was moist and dark brown with large soil grains. Phage were isolated by enrichment culturing at 25°C.
Naming NotesShōri means "triumph" in Japanese. Without a doubt I consider my phage a triumph. I was lucky enough to have collected a sample containing a phage on my first try.
