Discovery NotesOur first sample was a soil sample from campus. The GPS coordinates of where the sample was collected was 42°39’25”n 71°8’29”. It was collected on 9/19/22 at about 11:30 AM. It was cloudy at the time of day but it rained the night before so the soil was damp. It was also in the mid 60s° at that time of day. The area where we collected it from was an area where people walk through a lot throughout the day. To get the sample we dug only a few inches.
Naming NotesNamed after the two students who found the phage and the section of general biology they were in.
