Discovery NotesTook a small dirt sample from a patch of dirt between the Undergraduate Teaching Lab and the Fresh Food Cafe. The sample was collected from soil about 2-3 inches below the surface. The temperature was about 38 degrees F. The sample was placed into a 50 mL conical tube.
Naming NotesI decided to name it SnowLeopard because the phage was isolated from the snow, and I think snow leopards are cool and they also live in the snow.
