Discovery NotesSoil was collected by the Physics building at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Temperature was about 70 degrees Fahrenheit and soil was damp.
Naming NotesThis name was inspired by the location and property of our phage. We performed direct isolation using the soil by the Physics Building at UMBC, and phage quickly spreads itself once it infects a certain host.
