Discovery Notes | This virus was isolated at the base of a small tree and some shrubs. Approximately two inches of dirt and leaves were excavated and then the virus containing soil sample was extracted and collected. |
Naming Notes | The name comes from the location where I found my virus in the dirt. It was right outside of the school gym called the "Solheim". The gym and the virus are both named in honor of long-time LeTourneau University Board of Trustees member, Mr. John Solheim. |
