Discovery NotesThe soil was found in a neighborhood with dogs and cats frequented. The area is within a few miles of both the Gulf of Mexico and water spillways.
Naming NotesDuring many times this semester both of us as a group found we were passionate about the winter solstice. We decided to name our phage after this event in commemoration of our passion.
