Discovery Notes | The soil was found under a male cherry tree and the soil is moist/damp and is almost granule. This was collected at ½ an inch below the surface. It’s a dark brown in color with some grass within the sample. |
Naming Notes | The name spiders came from the 'webbing' step in the amplification process. Similar to real spiders, our phage was creating a web. |
