Discovery NotesWe found it alongside a building named "College Hall" one of the oldest building on campus. The area was covered in little twigs in branches. The ground was a little damp as well. There was a bush alongside the building as well in the location where we found it.
Naming NotesWe decided to go with the name "Spilly" as throughout experimenting with our phage and analyzing it, we were always nervous we were going to "spill" something. Whether that be the lysate itself, or the top agar. It became a running joke to say "don't spill anything" which is why the name Spilly is perfect.
