Discovery NotesPhage was isolated from a dirt sample taken outside Porter Biosciences building at CU Boulder. The dirt was soft and smooth. The sample was taken from a similar area to other students before being enriched in the first steps of the lab.
Naming NotesThe name of the phage comes from the abundance of spot tests I had to perform to get the required results. The morphology of the plaques are also small and look like dots.
