Discovery NotesThe sample was found on 5th Ave and Washington Street in Olympia Washington on 9/29/14 under an oak tree. This particular plaque morphology was found on a spot test and then isolated after four successful streak purifications. A serial dilution was performed on a sample plaque from a streak purification and was then determined to be homogeneous.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage was determined from it's morphology. The plaques are small in diameter and fairly numerous. On petri dishes, this sample often looked like sprinkles on a cookie.
