Discovery Notes | Found in Ruder reserve in Oxford, Ohio. Sample taken from a stream bank. Little sunlight due to canopy. Found near near a pool of water blocked off by a decaying tree. |
Naming Notes | The name of this phage came from Father Spyridon Bailey, an orthodox priest serving in the ROCOR in England. He has published many books, as well as having a youtube channel. I am naming this phage after him out of respect and admiration for him. |
