Plaque NotesTEM analysis revealed phage particles with icosahedral capsids (~55–65 nm in diameter) attached to long, flexible, non-contractile tails approximately 150–250 nm in length. This virion architecture is characteristic of the Siphoviridae morphotype. The observed morphology rules out Myoviridae and Podoviridae due to the absence of contractile sheaths or short tails.
