Discovery NotesIt was found in Poughkeepsie at Marist College under the Marist Tunnel. The soil was soft, clumpy, and contained a couple of small pebbles.
Naming NotesWe thought this name would be funny because the word phage has a very similar Greek word, "phagein," which means to eat or devour. Since phage attack bacteria cells, we thought this would be a fun name to make.
