Discovery NotesThe soil was collected out front of the Pharmacology & Toxicology Center, "PTC". It was dug under a tree that was surrounded by plants. The moisture content was dry and the hole was about 0-2 cm deep.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage came from our SEA-PHAGE instructor, Dr. Sunnen. We love Dr. Sunnen and wanted to honor her by naming our phage after her since she has been very supportive of us through our process. We had a lot of failure but Dr. Sunnen always gave us hope.
