Discovery Notes | This sample was obtained in between Crabtree Hall which is a resident hall and Worchester dinning Commons. Where the soil was taken it was very moist and muddy because the previous day it rained. Where the soil was taken it was surrounded by short bushes and tall trees. Specifically, the sample was taken under a bush along a sidewall leading to the dining common. |
Naming Notes | We chose this name by putting something that is significant to each of our group members, and we also name it of after the Worchester dining hall as this is where the soil sample was found. |

Plaque Notes | This phage originally came from the "C.T02" plate and the plaques were very circular, there’s was a lot of plaques along the edge of the plate and the plaques were clear with a bit of hazy yellow and most of the plaques were big. For the first step of purification, the two new plaques were from "C.T02" plate and the first set of plaques was known as P01 which was 3mm in size and the second P02 and was 4mm in size and both were found on the edge of the plate. Then for the second purification step we ended choosing two plaques from PO1 and the two plaques were named PO1a and PO1b. And therefore, for the last round of purification we chose two new plaques from PO1b and labeled them as PO1aa which was 3mm with a fairly circular shape and mostly clear and PO1ab which was 4mm and also had a fairly circular shape and mostly clear. |
