Discovery NotesThe soil was collected on the edge of a flowerbed and grass. The soil came from about 2 inches below the grass surface. Upon collection, the sample was dark, fluffy and contained many roots. On 9/2/2024, when the sample was collected, the temperature was 26°C.
Naming NotesThe collector, Abby, had two dogs named Tater and Bear. We decided to name the phage after her beloved pets. Tater has since passed, so we keep this phage name in his memory.
