Discovery Notes | These phage were discovered at Carthage College behind the Oaks residence halls. A sample of loose soil was brought to class in a tube to have phage extracted from it. The surrounding temperature was about 74 degrees Fahrenheit. |
Naming Notes | My partner (Lauren Fleming) and I both went to the same high school, Tremper, so we named our phage TeamTremper to commemorate our experience there. |
