| Discovery Notes | Phage was collected from dirt in my chicken coop. I dug 2-3 inches into the ground. The dirt sample was pretty wet/moist and clumpy. There were some roots, wood chips and most likely some chicken fecal. Dirt was collected mid day, 9/7/2025. |
| Naming Notes | My dirt was collected from my back yard chicken coop. My chicken's breed is buff orpington. My phage is temperate. I wanted to incorporate both into a name to remember where I got my phage and what my phage was like, so Temp(temperate) Orpington(Chicken breed). |
