Discovery NotesThis phage was originally collected in Owensboro Kentucky from the mud of the Ohio river. The soil sample was then filtered and enriched then serial diluted to isolate sample down to one phage. Following this, a high titer stock was created from a 10-plate lysate where it was then exposed to restriction enzymes to then separate the cuts via gel electrolysis.
Naming NotesThe name was chosen by combining the first two letters of the researchers first and last name.
