Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected at 11:41 am on 20190902, in the backyard of a home in Annandale, Virginia. The surrounding area of the collection was covered by a layer of mulch and plants. The soil was fairly dry and was obtained approximately 9 cm below the surface.
Naming NotesOriginally named to be dedicated to my girlfriend Y-Nhi. The new name "Teufel Hunden", comes from the First World War, a nickname given to United States Marines by German Soldiers. The name translates to Devil Dog, a nickname that is apart of the proud heritage of the United States Marine Corps.
