Discovery Notes | We finally found this phage after four other failed attempts. We found it in an area where water drainage often ran over the ground with growth around it. |
Naming Notes | Thanator is named after a ferocious beast in McKenzie Files favorite movie Avatar. We decided on this name because of that and that our phage is a ferocious beast who could only be found and tamed after much hard work. |
