Discovery NotesMy phage was found in a soil sample collected by the Hillside Grind Coffeehouse in Cullowhee, NC. The soil sample was moist, fine, a medium brown color, and taken from a section of ground covered by grass mostly shaded from the sun. The soil was collected from a depth of about 2 inches.
Naming NotesThe name for this phage came from my last name, Timmons. I have put much effort into working with this bacteriophage and my lab partner and I always talk about our phages like they are our pets, so I have named mine TinyTimmons.
