Discovery Notes- Soil sample was taken from a gardening area in the lawn of the William Pitt Union at the University of Pittsburgh; there were surrounding flowers and other plant vegetation close to the soil sample

- Gathered on a very hot day (temperature was approximately 91 degrees F) at 3:10pm

- There was some mulch on top of the soil as well as leaves from nearby trees
