Discovery NotesThis bacteriophage was collected next to a pond on Miami University's campus, Hillcrest Pond. It was from the ground near the pond and it was found by a classmate named Charlotte DeLong. It was a sunny and dry day on September 9th at about 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesWe named this bacteriophage after our introductory seminar teacher here at Miami University, Yoshi Tomoyasu. He is a great teacher and always looks out for us freshman.
