Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from the side of my house, where the surface was damp from rain the previous day. The area had noticeable organic material and debris, making it a suitable collection site. Using a hand shovel, I carefully dug and collected the soil. Weather conditions were sunny with little to no wind at the time of collection. The sample appeared appropriate for further study of phages.
Naming NotesThe name TriadOma stands for Triad( meaning 3 founders for the 3 of us who worked on this phage) and Oma(for Omaha, the city where we live).
