Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from outside of Newman Hall under a tree. The area consisted of many fallen leaves and has local organisms such as ants present.
Naming NotesWe chose this name for our phage both because kilovolts are a unit of measuring electricity and because the first letters of our first names are 'K' and 'V'. The name is also a pun based on "AAA batteries", hence the electricity inspiration.
