Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected on 9/4/24 from an area shaded by trees; it was partly cloudy that day. The soil was dark brown, fine, and moist. Direct Isolation procedure was performed on the soil sample, which then produced successful plaques!

This soil sample was donated from Megan Pham (TA) to Jennifer Pham and Linda Quach.
Naming NotesWe originally wanted to name our phage Tubby, but we realized that the name was already taken. So, in honor of Tubby, Tubberson was born to carry on Tubby's legacy.
