Discovery Notes | I collected my soil sample from about half an inch below the surface outside my dorm building on a day with light snowfall. The soil was moist at the time of collection and had a rich, dark brown color. The sample also contained organic materials such as mulch and leaves. |
Naming Notes | I named this phage after an offensive play designed by the Philadelphia Eagles football team, as a tribute to their victory in the 2025 Super Bowl—the same year I discovered this phage. GO BIRDS! |
