Discovery NotesI collected my soil sample from about half an inch below the surface outside my dorm building on a day with light snowfall. The soil was moist at the time of collection and had a rich, dark brown color. The sample also contained organic materials such as mulch and leaves.
Naming NotesI named this phage after an offensive play designed by the Philadelphia Eagles football team, as a tribute to their victory in the 2025 Super Bowl—the same year I discovered this phage. GO BIRDS!
