Discovery NotesAcquired soil in a pond east of Victory Hall on UNT campus. Sample was collected approx. 1 inch below water level. Temperature recorded was about 82 °F, with 80% humidity from heavy afternoon rain. Location was at the north end of the pond on the edge of the water between roots and harvested about a handful with a plastic bag.
Naming NotesThe name Valentine comes from the Resident Evil series as the character Jill Valentine is very stubborn, dies, and comes back in the game. Much like my phage, I was left with one plaque during the purification process before it resurging and then dealing with it's poor MPI for a whole month before achieving webbed plating.
