Discovery NotesThis phage came from left over grass clippings after mowing the lawn. There were no chemicals or pesticides used on this lawn.
Naming NotesThis is named after my two Boston terriers. Violet who is a 3-year-old, blue color, and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. Her nickname is ViVi. Then there's Pixie, a 2-month-old, brown and black brindle color and the wild child of the two. Her nickname is Sticks. I love them, they are my heart dogs. I wanted to name this phage after them so they could live together forever with me.
