Discovery NotesThe sample was collected from Southern Connecticut State University, outside close to a pond. The soil sample collected was directly under a pepper vine plant. The soil was moderately dry with some roots close by.
Naming NotesThe name Wadadli originates from the indigenous language of the Caribs and Arawaks, originally inhabited Antigua, my parents' homeland. I chose this name because I want to represent my small island, the word Wadadli also roughly translates to mean "our own".
